I've carried a Gerber for years and use it about every day.... did not like the leatherman because half the time when I tried to cut wire the wire would get jammed in the tool and you could not reverse the shear.... with a Gerber you can. You can also 'snap' it open using one hand.

I've got the Charge Ti and I love it. It does cost more but if you use it a lot it's worth the price.
