I was expecting a link to the online catalog for the Goodings Pebble Beach auction getting underway now. Not this shit.

Link here, to one of the best assemblies of actual car porn in a while.

Oh, come on. Don't be that way.

Some of us enjoyed watching what you posted. Thanks for doing it.

It’s not hard to understand why someone with unlimited money, who likes cars would collect super cars. What I don’t get is buying and customizing this Pagani—then driving it 100 miles in 3 years. Cars need to be driven, especially a car like that. Jay Leno is a car guy and obviously stupid rich, but he drives ‘em.

“Vacuous” is a good word to describe the woman.

Agreed. And the car is as tacky as the driver.

I've come to the conclusion that car's like that, even without the gratuitously show add on (Hermes Edition? Really?), serve no purpose. They can't get anywhere near their performance potential on public roads, even if the owner/driver doesn't care about the potential legal problems that would cause. The only real place to wring them out is on a track. That being the case, get a stripped own, nothing but performance track/race car just for that, which would likely be much cheaper. With some of the leftover money, get a decent performance daily driver for use on public roads.

I think it's the Science Channel that has a show called How It's Made. Sometimes they will feature the construction of high-end cars (don't know about this particular one). By and large, they are essentially built by hand, nothing resembling what we think of as an assembly line.

Don't worry that a few bitter whiners insist on criticizing you and your post.

Whatever happened to simply moving on without comment when something does not interest you? No, people must immediately express disatisfaction, as if you served them a bad meal in a restaurant.

So WHAT if you consider this video or this car wasteful or excessive. Big flip. The internet has plenty of other content to enjoy. No point in needless and unwelcome criticism.

It reminds me of joke posts where 'that guy' has to dump on the OP because he did not think the joke was funny.

Not the Discovery Channel's How It's Made Dream Cars, but a very good video none the less overviewing the 'exquisite' (love that word to describe this car) details of a Huayra build.

I agree!! There is a fair amount of "money jealousy" exhibited in this thread. Oh, I wouldn't have one.......you couldn't afford to buy the headlight bulb!!! I guess it is all a part of this being and open forum.

It makes me sick, he has had the car for 3 years and he just found two new bags he did not know in a compartment. Also the car has little over 100 miles on it........ the cars I have owned I have been over every inch of them.

I was thinking more along the lines of this for about 5% of the price.

Yeah... for me that would be the case. I probably wouldn't buy one even if I could easily afford one.
But... if there weren't a market for "super cars" they wouldn't be made. And I'm glad they are made.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Maybe he's too busy making money, running his enterprises, jet setting in his private jet, or just chasing his hot wife around the world, yeah I think I'd be more interesting in chasing Leyla Milani around than looking around my multi million dollar car in order to locate hidden bags...

If I were a billionaire, I would have SO MANY cars, airplanes, boats, and houses that I could never use them all, either. I would have many toys like this Pagani collecting dust, as there would be so many competing demands on my free time. Billionaires only have 24 hrs per day like the rest of us.

I did a search on Lambos for sale recently, and VERY few of them had more than a couple thousand miles on them. These super cars are, by definition, limited to the ultra rich and individually end up with very few miles on their odometers. . .
