MikitoTrouble Finding GM AC O Ring Any Parts Counter Guys?
vehicle: 1995 chevrolet suburban with rear ac
I can't seem to find a part number for the o ring which goes between the evaporator and the accumulator. I replaced the evaporator and accumulator and used the supplied green oring but had a small leak. I had to crank down really tight to get it to stop.
I did not replace the o ring on the line going into the accumulator and it is sealing fine. I have had bad luck with these aftermarket green o rings on a honda.
I would like to replace the o ring with the oem black o ring but cannot find a part number.
The online parts diagrams I have found only show the lines not separate call outs for the o rings.
I assume the o rings going into and out of the accumulator are probably the same size if that helps.
The interior diameter of the o ring is around 5/8". Probably a little smaller.
I used an aftermarket evaporator and accumulator. Maybe regretting that a little.
I appreciate any help anyone can provide.
This page does show the separate o rings #4 but does not list them for sale.
