I don't have experience with it, but it's not sold by WalMart. Listing states "sold and shipped by Strong United", whoever that is. _______________________________________ Flammable, Inflammable, or Nonflammable....... Hell, either it Flams or it doesn't!! (George Carlin)

Just for the hell of it |
If you want it for fun and plinking go ahead. When it really matters I would pony up for the real thing or any weapon light from Surefire or Streamlight. Easy to make an led light that works when you flip the switch. Hard to make them continue to work after a few hundred rounds have knocked them around. _____________________________________ Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. In a weaponslight, due to the recoil punishment it would take, I'd get a proven brand name light. If that Walmart light breaks after a few uses, you've wasted 1/3 to 1/2 of the price of a Streamlight. Buy once, Cry once. LA Police Gear has got a few Streamlight weapons lights for a reasonable price (< $126). They have a 300 lumen TLR-1 for $126. With the discount below that would be $107. LA Police Gear - Streamlight Weapons Lights They are having a 15% off sale sitewide. Surefire is excluded, but Streamlight is not. The Promo Code is "INDEP15". FYI, the sale is on until midnight of July 4th.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Storm, Loyalty Above All Else, Except Honor ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I've heard of XC1 knockoffs before. I'm surprised that Surefire's lawyers haven't lowered the boom on both Walmart and the affiliate for using the XC1 name.

I use to think the only viable choices were Surefire and Streamlight. But, I watched for sales and purchased this from opticsplanet for $64.00, and I am extremely happy with it. I have put at least 200 rounds through my G19 with this light attached and it works flawlessly.

^ I would consider companies like Olight and Inforce name brands also, and would consider using their products. No name Chinese manufacturers who simply make copies of the the products of name brand companies? I wouldn't use these in situations where my life depended on it. If it were ab low stress application and/or a convenience situation, I might. But a WML does not qualify for the latter.

Speaking of lights, I need one for my G19 I am considering TLR-7, any other good options that will work with g19(need same length as barrel/slide)

That rug really tied the room together. |
$45? No thanks. Get a REAL weapon light. Older M3 lights can be found for that. ______________________________________________________ Often times a very small man can cast a very large shadow
