Anyone have a SIRT pistol? I have been thinking about getting a 110 with polymer slide to dry fire practice with. Anything better? I obviously would rather go to the range but life gets in the way sometimes.

I've had one for a couple of years. Have not looked at alternatives. I don't use it too much, but it comes in handy working with new shooters before taking them to the range -- grip, muzzle awareness, etc. As you note, dry fire practice helps when you can't get to the range.

We have a few at work that we use with our MILO system. They have a place in training but don’t believe the marketing point about it being an ultra realistic Glock trigger: it’s not. But good as an instructor for doing teaching, either to a group or 1 on 1, especially when teaching trigger reset/sear reset and tactics in a classroom (like flashlight manipulation, for instance) Would I want one personally to train with firvky own development? No, I don’t think so. I see it as a tool for an instructor to use while teaching others, not as a tool to train myself. I can do better dry fire practice with a real gun while watching tv. Hint: dry fire need not involve sight picture, stance, or really anything other than the trigger.

That is what I was afraid of. If the trigger is not even remotely close then there is not much of a point. Thanks for the input.
