How long are we required to stay away from people before it’s not okay for cops to forcefully remove our freedom?
These go to eleven.

Good question. But my comment was referring to the Aunt Jemima’s getting in the officer’s faces and calling them every name under the sun.

why expose your officers to the possibility of them getting sick because of this trash? No one really cares if these fools get sick.

Well their families might. The problem with this disease is that if they get sick they won’t keep it themselves. Each will infect several others, who will each in turn infect several others...

Which disease are you referring to? Corona virus or the fucking ghetto ass mentality?
The Corona Virus is the least of my concerns. I have the lovely opportunity to be in neighborhoods like this for a living. Yeah, we got the whole speech from the Governor, Mayor, Supt... and I know what we’re “supposed” to do when it comes to large gatherings of people. I’m also extremely aware about the 1st Amendment and the right to peacefully assembly.
Think about it, this situation is kinda like “rats” during the Bubonic Plague. Tell me those people in that video aren’t going to catch something there, leave that area, go to your store, and with the social etiquette they have probably cough all over the toilet paper isle... you grab the pack of toilet paper that they just coughed all over... see ya in 2 weeks, hopefully you don’t have underlying health problems.
I’ll bet you that if you pay attention to the people in that video, you’ll have a great chance of seeing them again if the situation gets bad enough out there and there’s looting... they’ll be at the store grabbing flat screen tvs, purses, shoes...

Freedom ends where other peoples' rights begin. When there is a potentially deadly disease out there, being spread by asymptomatic people, it is entirely reasonable to restrict gatherings. Anyone, seemingly healthy, could be a Typhoid Mary with this stuff. So, yeah, purposeless gatherings are a legitimate concern.
However, when tests are prevalent, treatments are proven, hospitals are empty and medical care providers are bored, the crisis will eventually be over and what would be entirely reasonable during the medical crisis would then become oppressively unConstitutional.
So, to answer your question of how long this will remain reasonable, it's a medical question, not a legal one, IMO.
