Aid & Assistance VA pension program for wartime vets
If you don't know about this, it is worth looking into if you have qualifying family seniors as this program helps defray their senior living expenses.

That said dealing with the VA is never easy. Just witnessed a case of a WWII vet that took 17 months to go from application to receipt of funds. That was even with assistance from this great outfit: https://www.patriotangels.com/

Still, as said, it is worth investigating if you have elderly family to see if they qualify.

My mother in law qualified for this program as the widow of a WWII vet. It was a lot of work for my wife but it has made a very significant difference.

My grandparents just started the process for my grandparents.
I hope it is a quick process for them.

Anyone have tips I can pass along to them?
