That walks the fine line between gaming the system and outright fraud. Might be over the line, actually. I wonder what the actuarial data is on actual (vs. fraudulently claimed, as in the OP) transgendered folks' driving safety? Reason is, I wonder whether, in the current zeitgeist, whether an insurance company could raise rates on them if they turned out to be worse risks.

I have thought of changing my gender to female because insurance companies say females live longer. Rod "Do not approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction." John Deacon, Author I asked myself if I was crazy, and we all said no.

This is a good first step. If we are going to allow people to claim whatever gender they want, then abolish all gender based things that benefit females. No more small business loans, contract preferences, rate reductions, Title IX - all of it needs to go. If they want to be 'equal' that means taking the good with the bad. Adjust rates for everyone to a middle ground. “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” - John Adams

I do not understand why there is such a difference in insurance rates. I see females well represented in the population of aggressive dumb-shit drivers, as well as those who are busy finger-fucking their cell phones while driving. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

So, someone who championed a legal way of changing one's gender officially is upset that someone else took advantage of it for their own purposes/reasons? How exactly would that be illegal if it's legal??? Quite the little paradox there right Stephanie? "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits." Albert Einstein

Why is it ok for insurance companies to charge men higher rates for car insurance, but somehow uncool if they were to charge women more for health insurance? Aren’t women a higher risk pool when it comes to health services? The Red Pill!! This. If risk classes exist for life and auto insurance, then why is it wrong to underwrite health insurance? If there are any feminists with moral, they should be petitioning for equal pay on auto and life insurance. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

And we shouldn't complain. Women are better risks. Their insurance ought to be cheaper. It is the insurers' bread and butter to know such things. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.
