Got a call yesterday afternoon that the replacement jacket had arrived, they'd applied the conditioner and protectant, and I could come in for the exchange at my convenience.

Just got back. Third try was the charm. This jacket fits as well as try #2, has no flaws, and has a more weathered look than either of the first two, which I like.

So, final verdict: I think I just had a run of bad luck. One thing's for certain: Wilsons Leather's customer service, if my store is any guide, is top-notch. They really went out of their way to make me a happy customer, and did it all with a smile.
