I’d like your opinion. I have a Victorinox Night Vision watch that needs the batteries replaced. I’m too lazy to get my ass to a jeweler every other year and get them changed. After watching a video showing how to do this, I’ve decided I’ll just buy the tool to remove the back myself. It’s really not that difficult. Does anyone have a tool they would recommend? I don’t want some piece of junk that will break after two uses but I’m not getting into rebuilding classic Omega’s either. There’s something I need from Amazon that costs about $6 and I don’t want to pay shipping on top of it so I’ll add the tool to the order. | ||

What kind of case back is it? Does it pop off or is it screw down? The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. 71 asks the important question of whether it is pop off ore screw off. If screw off, sometimes a rubber ball like a stress ball will have enough friction to unscrew a watch caseback. If pry off, be careful. Getting the back off is not hard, but getting it back on is and jewelers have a special press that applies force evenly. With a screw down I would go with a Jaxa wrench. It is a 3 point wrench. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. Also I would also recommend a watch case holder to hold the case steady while you remove the case back. Sometimes they can be tight depending on how tight the last person who changed the battery tightened it. I found that out several years ago while removing the case back from a Seiko Orange Monster to fix a loose rotor. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
