This is for all the members who are in the bald club and shave their own heads on a regular basis:
I bought a Harry’s razor and supply of blades and started using them on January 1 after switching from Dorco. I’ve seen Harry’s state they don’t recommend using their razors for shaving heads, only for faces and I wondered why.
My supply of Dorco blades I’ve used for shaving my head finally ran out so I decided to use the Harry’s on my head after all and I’ll be dammed if it wasn’t the BEST, smoothest and close shave I’ve ever had in 20 years of shaving my noggin!
I wonder why they caution people to not use their razors for head? Liability?
I’m going to start using them for both my face and head from now on!

I've always used the same razors that I shave face with for my head. But after a razor starts to feel like I should be replacing it the I start to use it on my head. In other words I have 2 razors. So my thought is if you're using one of their razors on your head and face it going to wear out alot faster. And perhaps they think people will get the impression that their blades don't last very long.

I’m going to get another handle set and keep one for head and one for face.

I use a Harry's razor for my head. It's an oversized razor head and enough blades so when it's brand new, EASY ON THE PRESSURE. I find I like it best on the third or fourth shave with it. I keep a Gilette Mach for detail work around the ears and beard as frankly, the Harry's razor is too large.
It shaves so close, I use 100% aloe gel after to moisturize. When I don't, I def feel the razor burn.

I found a women's three bladed style works best on my head. There seems to be a bit more of a gap between the blades which keeps them from clogging as quickly. I also strop it a bit before use. I do that while in the shower, I run it backwards up my soapy arm 4-5 times, it straightens out the edge of the blade and gives a better shave while also making it last much much longer than typical disposables.
