njautoA 9/11 memorial gift from Russia
I probably live about 40 minutes from there and I only found out about several years ago. Bayonne, is where a lot of cruise ships sail from and I think you can see this when you come in and out of the port.

There were news posting back when it was dedicated, and I did see them. I've not been back to NYC since then so have not seen it live. (Not really likely to visit NYC again, either--no reason to.) It is a very nice memorial.

highroundcountWow. That was damned nice of them. Put me in category of not knowing of it's existence. Fucking MSM, would hate for them to report anything positive about Russia because you know, it's the 1980s and we are in the middle of a Cold War with them

From the perspective picture that thing is huge and beautiful. No small investment for them.
Thank you op for sharing this!

VBVAGUYI did not know this either. Thank you for sharing it. I did not know that at the time, President Clinton thanked the Russian people and the artist for the gift. God Bless
