NASCAR is very protective of their drivers and teams (not to mention their sponsors and track owners). I seriously doubt the clip will persist in the highlight reels over future years. Likewise, I am certain that the shame and teasing will plague Zilisch long after he's physically healed.

His first on-air interview after the incident should be entertaining, I'm sure the announcers are already working on interview questions that include the word "collar."

Yeah this guy is legit good.
I thought I saw him die yesterday on live tv, I was watching the last 5 laps with the wife and kids. It was horrible. So glad he is on the mend.
