46and2I've lived in two countries, and five states, and visited a bunch more. Could've been even more, just hasn't worked out that way yet, but I'm not done...
I am of the opinion that those who decide against moving around are severely limiting their choices and options in life, and it sometimes seems that a bunch of people who are out of work or complaining about the pay and options are those who never move around. I get the convenience and other benefits of having family nearby or liking ones friends and such, but it seems like many stay put to their own detriment in the long run.

flashguyI tend to agree with 46and2 on this. I had relatives who had never been more than 50 miles from where they were born and they had little imagination or variety in their lives. I think there are positive benefits from having lived in several locations, preferably with markedly different interests.
