| You're concerned about something or obsessed with something to the point that it invades your sleep. Simple as that. Really and truly, it is as simple as that.
Dream interpretation is hogwash. |

Me too! Only sometimes it's a blonde and sometimes it's a red head. |

| If you believe that dreams have meaning and significance, and are not random images bouncing around your head, recurring dreams are usually an indication that the issue(s) is(are) not resolved, or have recurred. How significant they are for you would depend upon how significant are the issues the dreams are reflecting. Also important for interpretation are the emotions the dream produces. |

Agreed. Although allegorical, the dream makes perfect sense in the context of reality. We're not talking about purple grasshoppers meaning something. |

We gonna get some oojima in this house!

| Dreams are a way for your brain to diffuse the information it has been processing during the day. Recurring dreams may be a result of recurring issues. I have a recurring dream when I am behind at work. I am in a large city. I am supposed to meet someone at 116th Street. No matter where I go, or what I do, can't get past 106th Street. The people in the dream are people I went to high school with. The street numbers scenery, and people change, but the gist of the dream is the same. The above numbers are just the latest one I had. What makes this dream different is that it feels real. Sometimes you know its a dream right after waking. This one feels real and it takes me a minute to realize it was a dream.

| Understand how your brain works; you descend into REM sleep and begin to dream. Your brain generates an image of a grey blob. You brain then decides that this grey blob is a cat.
Get it?
That's all you should need to know. Really, that little snippet should tell you everything you need to know.
Dream interpretaion is absolute bullshit. You cannot interpret the random musings of your brain, and that is all they are. If you keep dreaming about something, then it is something bothering you to the point that even when you sleep, it manages to invade your dreams, but attempting to interpret the random things going on in your dream is ridiculous and it is pure folly. |

This is my take also. Have had a few dreams of an ex girlfriend that the relationship went bad and I ended up leaving and saying a lot of bad things. I'd be lying if I said that it doesn't bother me. So I have dreams of meeting her and reconciling. It's not all the time but I know what it is. The other night I had a dream of running into 2 lions in my backyard and running away like a crazy man. I don't read anything into it, just a dream.
I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.
