I guess it fails them that city business shouldn't be conducted on political grounds.

I'm protesting their rights to ignore the law by pelting them with stinky bombs. Their legal, and I'm a counterprotester. Doesnt that get me some kind of double immunity from the law?

#Me too

Why did you say, "Pound Me too"? Wink

You Subaru owners will just have to suck it up like us Conservatives who unfortunately reside in California.

I'd love to ask each of those dimwits,

"How many 'undocumented workers' are you hosting in your home right now?"

"Are there any fences on your property, and if so, why?"

"How do you like seeing your children's education dramatically dumbed-down because the teachers dare not pass all of the American kids and fail all of the illegal kids for fear of being labeled 'racist'?"

Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.

It’s been 30 years since I had to be in Austin to testify at a hearing before the Railroad Commission. I‘ll never return, at least not voluntarily.

I wish we could just fire up the transporter and beam them all to Commifornia. As for deportation, that is a bit harsh, I propose we wright in a law that would get rid of deportation, but fire up the buses and bring to to Commifornia. Clearly they are want to take care of them. You get a choice, go back, or go to California, and if found outside you go to prison.

Houston Texas, if the heat don't kill ya, the skeeters will.

It would raise the average IQ in both places.

These Austin hippies are complete candy asses compared to the real deal Whackyland good time commie doper dirtballs. They look on Whackyland as the Mecca, the promised land they aspire to be worthy of.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

How many of them do you believe actually live outside of their mommy's basement?

Or perhaps a better question might be, "how many of them actually have a real job?"

There has never been an occasion where a people gave up their weapons in the interest of peace that didn't end in their massacre. (Louis L'Amour)

"To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical. "

That’s why they call it the People’s Republic of Austin.

As a former govt purchasing agent, I can only say that is they carry through on this nonsense, they will violate not only state procurement laws (Texas Local Govt Code) but Maybe Fed too (FAR). Any project that uses Fed funds or grants can involve fed regulations. They will get dinged by the Feds as well as the contractors that get excluded. This is just political theatre for the commies on the city counsil and their Lefty lawyer mayor.
