myrottietyFirst Fast Car
I guess my first really "Fast Car" in my Tesla Model 3 Long Range/Dual Motor. 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. I've seen some mid & low 12 second 1/4 miles reported out of them.
Pretty tame by most standards. Especially all these big block ICE cars in here. But I can't help it. I love my Model 3.
Disclaimer: I still roll down the window and listen to any sport / muscle cars I see. I still love the rumble of a big ass engine & tuned exhaust.

But I sit on the inside and don’t see those fucked up headlights.
That car above is an 996 TT X50; factory option with larger K24 twin turbos and GT2 intercoolers.
Those are 305s on the rear.
Yeah, the 997 made a huge improvement in just the headlights alone.
But when you stomp the loud pedal, who cares when the headlights look like.

You know it … a friend of mine from here was looking at a 991.1 GT3 Sunday and I told him if he bought it, I’d race him for pink slips up to 180 mph.
He said “you’ll win that 10 out of 10” … lol.
Of course, if there were a lot of slow corners I would lose handily.

P250UA5I've only ever been a passenger in a 911.
Autocross, had a guy in a 997 GT3 that came out on slicks. Car was hilariously fast.
Friend of my dad's had a 991 S for a company car (speed shop). Lowered with a nice exhaust on it. Even at pedestrian speeds, it was a fun ride.
I'd be more than happy with a 997 S, or a 992 T. But, they're well beyond any practical budget, without factoring in the maintenance.
Would probably opt for a Cayman/Boxster S if I were looking at P-cars.

SIGnifiedPorsche Cayman are super capable… I went to Birmingham, Alabama to a Porsche Driver 2 day track event… Got to drive all the models. Those Caymans are super handy and delightful track tools.
I recently wanted a GT4 RS but… priorities

Yeah, I'd even consider a 718 S.
But, the only P-cars I've been in the driver's seat for were all 944s.
Had a near miss in a late model 944 Turbo. 270* exit, downhill, downshift & boost lag led to some oversteer midway through

drtenb3301987 Buick Grand National GNX.
Switched out a regular Buick Regal, my dad and I went to pick it up, and my mother didn't realize I changed the car for over 2 weeks.
I wish i kept it, not sold it. What a terrible mistake.

jimmy123xMy first fast car I had was a 1987 mustang GT that did 11.90's at 116 mph on nitrous. Then I got a 1993 Mustang Cobra and did it all up, built entire motor, Vortech S trim with 16 lbs boost, it did 10.80's at 129 mph.
Have fun with the car, but know you can get in trouble REAL quick with all that HP. Sounds like a really nice car.
