First Fast Car
Recently I bought a 700 HP 2019 Mustang GT. It is a lot of fun. The Gen. 3 Coyote engine is excellent! This is a brief review of the car.

Enjoy!

Had that coyote in my last truck. Fast as hell far as I’m concerned. Easily faster than my ‘67 GT Mustang was. Enjoy the new car.

Was great up until the automatic but still not bad.

That’s going to be a ton of fun. As much as I like a manual the 10 speed auto is the way to go in such a high powered car.

My First Fast Car in 1978 was a 1969 Chevelle SS that had the 396 with 375 HP in it but my dumb a** decided to pull that original motor and sell it to the gun running the garbage pick up at my parents house for a number to low to post here because I HAD to have a small block motor because I could push the RPM’s so much higher (yea I know - hind sight on this entire situation was STUPID on my part). Blew up that small block less than a year later because I did not have a rpm limiter on it…..

Sure wish I still had that car and that original 396/375 motor……The lessons we learn in life…..

Mine was a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT - had the 3.4 L 3400 OHV V6 engine with 175 hp, 205 lb⋅ft (270 N⋅m) of torque - manual transmission - it was more quick than fast, but it could do 0-60 in about 6 seconds. It handled well too... Cool

I envy you all. I have yet to own a car that was either quick or fast. My truck doesn't handle well either.

Nice mustang. I like blue on about amything, though I usually prefer a darker shade.

A Perpetual Disappointment...

Excellent on your new ride! Now, how do fight the urge that turns into a need to put your foot in it.

Nice, nice ride!!

Very nice

My first was a 1967 Pontiac Firebird with a 400 big block that I drove at age 16 in November of 1988, bought it at age 15 with my own money earlier that year. Now the idea of letting my OWN son drive a 400 hp car at age 16 makes me blanch. Eek

Last fast car for me was my Mini Cooper S around 2007, supercharged little go-kart. That thing was a blast to drive.

Make sure your attorney is in speed dial… Or make sure you have a link to the ticket clinic…

There are various levels of fast … and where … digs, straights, pulls above 60, braking and corners. Squat on throttle; and feel the boost generate more Gs.

Currently 0-60 is 3.2 s; been to 175 and was good, but there was a lot more motor and gear available. Wink Manual shifts are slow; lub dub. Big massive turbos, clampers and tires. ~550 hp in 3150 lbs. lots of torque to dynamically allocated 30/70 f/r.

Ford is having problems with the MT-82 manual transmission. Adding a supercharger would only make things worse. There is now a class action lawsuit against Ford because of the problems with the manual transmission.

Yes sir, I understand. My son asked me if he could have the Mustang when he turns 16. Hmmm, 700 HP at 16 years old...NO WAY! LOL!

1995 RX7 twin Turbo. My first and only fast car. I called it my "point and click" vehicle. It had better be pointed in the direction I wanted to go when I hit the throttle 'cause it was going to get there in a hurry.

2003 C5 Corvette. 525 rwhp, 495 rwtq. I have tracked the car for the last nine years. Most fun that I've had with my clothes on. LOL

Wasn't a car as I've always liked trucks and Jeeps.
Found a pristine 1976 CJ-5 with the V8 in it and went to work.
New manifold, got rid of the EGR, big ass carb, headers and side pipes. That Jeep was quick.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.
