Two college baseball teams playing a game.
This was a national nightly news story. I was visiting family it was on.
One team had lost 43 games in a row. The other team had lost 99 games in a row. The team that had lost 43 games in a row won. But it was a double header. The 100 loss team won the second game.

Cool story with a happy ending Smile

Let me guess. Each game won 1-0 by a sudden death free throw in overtime?

So, did the goalkeeper use irons or woods?

That 99 yard runback was really exciting.

Did you notice he almost tripped over that football bat?

Yeah, and they sure took their time checking it out to see if it was corked after the challenge.
