They stopped making elf skin wallets in the 1820's when they were hunted to the point of extinction. The elf's that we're left we're relacted north of the Arctic circle. I thought that was common knowledge.

They do make faux elf skin, but it does not hold up as well.


And here I thought they were sent to live in trees and make cookies.

I've been using a bison wallet from Orvis for a long time. I replaced it once because some of the nylon pieces on the inside wore out but the leather on that one was still excellent. My current one is probably 6 or 7 years old.

My only complaint is that the leather stretches and therefore, cleaning out the wallet means cards start falling out of their slots.



I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Since you guys are citing rather exotic skins, here's one I have that is quite unusual. Same style as the previous alligator one I posted but made of Salmon (fish) skin by Rogue. Smile They no longer offer this style instead concentrating on their front pocket flavor (https://www.rogue-industries.com/collections/front-pocket-wallets/mens).
