The timing is ironic for me.
Do y'all remember when Bloomberg started Everytown for Gun Safety, but failed to secure the websites and social media names for cities/towns? I'm one of the people that seized the opportunity and locked down one of the cities in FB. Ever since, I have periodically posted nothing but legitimate gun safety stuff (e.g. NRA's Eddie the Eagle videos and dates for upcoming hunter safety classes) and had a modest following. This week, FB just took down the page for not being linked to ETGS. It was a good run and I'm surprised it took them so long.
One of the simple pleasures of administering the group was trolling the shallow thinkers that believed more laws would stop criminals from breaking laws. I had it set-up where I was the only one who could post to the timeline and I had to approve comments. People would pm me and the fun would begin. It's been a while since having fun via PM so I doubt it was one of the people I had communicated with.
I hope the website owner has as much fun with the domain as I had with the ETGS FB group.
