As we see for lack of a better term, Heroes age and come to their end time. It almost seems as if it's impossible they should do so. I know this is the case for me. I consider Rush a friend of the like thinking variety. He also triggers my own rapidly closing life span as I am his senior by nine days. His insights and human foibles made him human and endeared him to many. For he stood up for what was right and good for all. He richly deserved the Presidential Medal Of Freedom placed around his neck by the Greatest President ever who also is obviously a Ditto Head. What a legacy for a good man to leave. As always like so many greats, he will be imitated but never equaled. Simply the right man at the right place in History with the God given talent and message to cry into the U.S. quagmire of a Political wilderness. His Golden Microphone,when his voice is stilled, will again never be. And that saddens me.

There are no words to truly express the sadness and loss I am feeling and that this country is experiencing over Rush's passing. May he be in God's glory and may I see him there some day. God bless you and thank you sir for your patriotism, knowledge, and insights shared with all of us over the years. May we all take your example to heart and pay it forward.
