How did he get an honor flight?

In other news, Trump met with a group of WW2 veterans; one of them being 100 years old.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I have no doubt his experience was meaningful beyond words. I've not experienced another memorial quite like it, save Arlington.

Good for him!!! Thanks to him for his service.
One of the greatest honors in my life was being a “Guardian” for two WWII vets on an Honor Flight.

Thanks everyone, he's back home in Knoxville and is still on a high. Dad turns 80 in three weeks but he's feeling half that he said. I passed on your thanks to him and it means a lot.
