I have a RWS Diana in .22 with a Leupold VX-II scope, very accurate but not quiet. .22 shorts in a nice lever action makes about half the noise. If you get an air rifle, at least an RWS, never ever under any circumstances do you clean the barrel. It takes hundreds of shots to get it consistent again

The electric air soft guns are so much more fun. My son and I have not use the BB guns since we got these. A full auto and three shot burst as a whole heck of a lot of fun.
