There was a thread here a while ago about phone cases. One member mentioned that he liked his SaddleBack leather case for an iPhone and was going to order a new one when he disposed of his old iPhone and got a newer model.

I use the same model iPhone that the gentleman was retiring, so I emailed him and asked him to sell me the old SaddleBack case, if he had no further use for it.

He consistently ignored my requests to buy the case, choosing instead to just send it to me. This is not the first time that something like this has happened.

My early Christmas (Chanukkah?) karma arrived earlier this week and my iPhone is nestled securely in its SaddleBack case.

Thank you, sir!

There are so many good folks here. I've been on both ends of Karmas and it's a great feeling.

Good story. Not surprising given the group. And you're not just a taker but a giver yourself.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
