Yeah, I don't get the deck.

Tough night for favorites, reliability/durability problems as a new season with "upgrades" kicks off. My money will still be on vertical spinners (no drums).

A couple a major fires involving top notch bots. It's going to be a great season. A few veterans have their work cut out to get their bots back in a fierce competitive mode. Very entertaining for sure.

I got in a bit late, but it looked to me as though they were just rehashing last year's fights? Will the new season actually start next week?

They did well last year, very damaging weapon. I think maybe a couple of you missed the season debut episode and saw the Bounty Hunter episode with Bronco from last year that aired right after

Switchback was an interesting design but didn't perform well for its debut. I like Hydra and Tombstone too, but bad night for them.

It was two hours of new stuff, and an hour repeat of an old Bounty Hunter episode. So if you started too late you hit the rerun.

The new stuff was really good. Lotsa 'bots bursting into flames.

A trebuchet flipper!?!?

Could be one of those great developments in BB.
Bronco was the king of the flippers, Hydra outdid them with hydraulic vs. pneumatic power.
Blip seems to have upped the game, not just with the mechanism but apparently very heavy armor. And maybe of equal note is how it launches opponents out and up as opposed to more up. That gives its flipper a flatter, wider reaching arc. Simply yikes.

Maybe if they spent less time on the costumes and did more work building 'bots?

The flamethrowers never really seem to be a factor except to their own bots when they explode.

This wasn't Pain Trains night. Damn.

This last Thursday was another great night. Lots of carnage. It's amazing how some can do so well and then lose it suddenly just before the fights over. Ya just can't count on anyone to always come out the winner. That makes it fun to watch.
