Was one of the few from the hip-hop world, early few, that understood how to turn his success into other business ventures.
I think he was one of the first hip-hop artists, that was consistent in cameo appearances, celebrity guest spots on various shows, contests and mainstream advertisements. Those from the 'hood said his music was palatable for 'white people', whatever... he laughed his way to the bank.

I thought he was one of the gangsters in "Be Cool", playing a guy called Dabu, but that was "Andre 3000" - what confused me must have been the hair. Rest in GP.
