I was at Home Despot yesterday, and was shocked to see how sparsely stocked the socket and wrench aisle was. There was only one 13mm socket. Is this a post-Covid thing?

I wouldn't judge the whole industry by one poorly stocked location .

I just bought a 20V DeWalt reciprocating saw on Woot this morning. $88 (tool only). Thought it was a pretty good deal.

They had many other DeWalt items listed too.

^Thank you. They had many power tools, just the manual tools seemed sparse. And seemed to be mainly sockets in any size out-of-stock now that I think about it; not sure about wrenches.

I only found the last 13mm socket because it was a weird color (black), and it had been mis-filed. Lucky for me, actually. They did have several combination wrenches in that size, and I grabbed one as well.

I need to go to Lowe's in the next few days. I'll try to remember to check out the tool aisle.

Husky individual sockets at HD have been hard to come by for more than 2 years at HD around here. My theory is the low life people can't steal them if they don't stock them. Retail theft is real bad around here in Washington and Oregon.
