Too bad the jackwads that were in the White House who traded a bunch of terrorists for him and celebrated his service with his parents aren't also facing jail time.

Hopefully now that with common sense restored in the White House we will get some justice in this case. Thank God this didn't happen during the last administration or it would have resulted in a guaranteed pardon, one final middle finger to the military and the soldiers who died looking for this piece of shit.

We won't get the justice we all believe is deserved (death penalty), but we will get some measure of justice. Final justice will be left to God, He certainly knows where this shit-stain deserves to be, given the multiple soldier's whose career's/live's were hampered/destroyed by his decisions.

For promotion to the permanent grade of brigadier general, eligible officers are screened by a promotion board consisting of general officers from their branch of service.[5] This promotion board then generates a list of officers it recommends for promotion to general rank.[6] This list is then sent to the service secretary and the joint chiefs for review before it can be sent to the President, through the defense secretary, for consideration.[7] The President nominates officers to be promoted from this list with the advice of the Secretary of Defense, the service secretary, and if applicable, the service's chief of staff or commandant.[8] The President may nominate any eligible officer who is not on the recommended list if it serves in the interest of the nation, but this is uncommon.[9] The Senate must then confirm the nominee by a majority vote before the officer can be promoted. Once the nominee is confirmed, they are promoted to that rank once they assume or hold an office that requires or allows an officer of that rank. For positions of office reserved by statute, the President nominates an officer for appointment to fill that position. For all three uniformed services, because the grade of brigadier general is a permanent rank, the nominee may still be screened by an in-service promotion board. The rank does not expire when the officer vacates a one-star position. Tour length varies depending on the position, by statute, or when the officer receives a new assignment. The average tour length per one-star billet is two to four years.

The above is from Wiki, but you get the point. This guy's third star was well in the works before any of this happened.

Last week, the military judge overseeing the trial rendered two adverse decisions. First, he decided that Bergdahl will stand trial on all charges. Most damaging, though, was his decision that if Bergdahl is convicted that the jury would be allowed to hear about the injuries suffered by an Navy SEAL and an Army NCO while specifically searching for Bergdahl.

So what about those soldiers who were killed while searching for this fucking traitor?

This asshole needs to be tied to a post and shot, like the last one in WW2.

Don't forget about all of the troops who died capturing the five bad guys we had to trade to get this waste of skin back.

You mean the ones Obama chose to trade.

BHO's actions make sense once you realize he was never on our side.

Also, don't forget that Obama didn't just "trade" five terrorists for Bergdahl, he also paid those bastards FIVE BILLION DOLLARS (yes, that's a "B", there are nine zeros involved on the left side of the decimal, $5,000,000,000) cash. LINK

Thanks,

My thought is that we, the tax payers, should not have to pay for this asshole's upkeep for more than 30 days. Within those 30 days the asshole should be tied to a post and shot!

All that is over. He got no prison time.

The update is that 5 of the terrorists Obama traded and promised that they were reformed returned to the fight and the US is now negotiating with them as Taliban leaders.
