So sad, I was just there on Saturday, the 26th! Almost bought another Groupon for them!

It's a shame to see the loss from that fire. If you guys are looking for a new place, and it's close enough, I'm a member at the Centennial Gun Club, and it's a great facility. ______________________________________________ Aeronautics confers beauty and grandeur, combining art and science for those who devote themselves to it. . . . This was my primary range for some time. Sort of a hole in the wall, but good service. Too bad.

Shit don't mean shit |
I used to live 5 blocks from that place! Got my Remmy 700 in 300 Win Mag from them and also took my CCW class there. Haven't been there in years though. I also rented a SIG P220 there before I bought my first SIG. Shame.

Can only imagine the lead readings around the surrounding areas...

Why do so many shooting ranges burn? Is it because the (previously) unburned powder on the floors isn’t cleaned up frequently enough? “I can’t give you brains, but I can give you a diploma.” — The Wizard of Oz This life is a drill. A lot of indoor range fires are from powder residue being ignited, either by someone shooting (unauthorized) tracer rounds or by steel core bullets creating sparks. However, this fire apparently began in the early morning, when there was no one there shooting. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

I'm no arson investigator but I would say that's a real possibility. The place i worked back in my misspent yute was very aggressive about their cleaning policy. We swept the entire range every night, and every night we would have at least one pint of unburnt powder.

There's also Blue Core. Which is nice also. Then there's always Cherry Creek Park an outdoor range.

Also Forgot 5280 Armory and Triple J opened a range also.

Ignored facts still exist |
About 30 years ago, I went to a range in a state far away from me where they actually allowed people to smoke while shooting. Made me cringe knowing the powder risk. Saw a guy with a .357 mag in isosceles stance with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. Looked like something from an old 1960's movie. .
