Last time I tried to purchase some cologne off one of the big sellers it came back as either a knock off or watered down version. I’m looking to you guys for advice on which discount online cologne dealers carry quality products for good prices. Do any y’all recommend a company or a website you all are satisfied with? Thx

Soap and Hot Water.

You will not find a good/cheap source of any extract. The process is too involved, too unique to each processor, and the high-quality inputs are too expensive.

If the quality isn't worth it to you, that's fine, but there will not be a way to cut cost w.o. cutting quality.

My wife uses this one:

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Cologne is one of those things where I buy it from a reputable department store i.e. Macy's. They're not going to sell rip offs or dilute the fragrance and frankly a bottle lasts years if in a rotation. It's not worth trying to save money and get a knock off. FYI I had tried all sorts of online / mall kiosk vendors that were selling for 30-50% off retail and they didn't smell the same or last as long.

I wait for a department store sale and take the 20% or so discount then.

You mention "watered down versions." Many people are not aware that many fragrances are available in different concentrations - but the concentrations are only labeled with fragrance-specific terminology that is not obviously meaningful.

I don't buy fragrances often, but when I have bought stuff for myself or my wife, it has generally been from a large department store, Sephora (a huge cosmetics/fragrances chain), or in a few cases, directly from the manufacturer.

Try Demeterfragrence.com This company has a whole slew of wild/odd/unique flavors. They use more natural sources rather than chemicals to make the smell. You can buy small samples to big bottles. Try Whiskey Tobacco, one of my favorites.

Amazon, but buy only if Amazon is the actual seller. Don't buy from Amazon partners.

Scentbox.com is nice if you like to try different variety's. They offer small samplers and have a return policy for ones your dont like.

Costco’s website can be hit or miss. If they have what you want it is often a large bottle for the price of a tiny bottle elsewhere.
