Is this one good? I'm starting (re: going to start) saving all of my bacon grease and make some bacon mayo.

I think stick blenders are so ubiquitous and cheap at this point that any well known brand versions are all roughly the same.

Do you own / have you used one?

We bought an inexpensive one at Walmart. It's a Faberware with 3 heads. I think it was under $30 and does a fine job.

I'm sorry if I hurt you feelings when I called you stupid - I thought you already knew - Unknown

That looks like a good one. You definitely want the kind where the blender part that gets dirty can pop off and you throw it in the dishwasher or wash it by hand.

I had an older one that was one piece and it was kind of a PITA to clean/sanitize properly.

I've owned multiple stick blenders throughout the years. Never really been dissatisfied with any of them. Couldn't even tell you which brand I have in the house, probably kitchen aid? We have it cause its red.

Make a container of hot soapy water, blend the hot soapy water for a minute or so, rinse and you're done.

I agree with this.

If I were looking for a replacement the main thing I would look for would be that I could turn it on and run it with one hand. The cuisinart smart stick I have has a "safety" button on the top that needs to be pressed and a high/low speed switch on the side (once it's running the top switch isn't needed). That means I need two hands to start the dang thing (or I'm trying to press the top button with my chin while holding the stick in my right hand and something else in my left hand).

I have the Braun 200 watt MR400HC and accessories which I have not used. Seems like I have had it for a least ten years or longer and do not remember paying that much for it.

Makes great mashed potatoes.

If whatever you have works for you, then that's the one. There's some features that are more important than others, being able to reach all the controls with one hand, ranks at the top, along with ease of cleaning, price has come down since they first hit the market.

Based off the test they did 10-years ago, I got the Cuisinart. Looks like they've updated their findings

Nice video.

Thanks everyone for all of the inputs.

Should have mentioned I had a wally world Hamilton Beach 2 Speed Hand Blender ($19 & change) and it took forever to make a low carb ketchup recipe (most difficult thing to blend was canned whole peeled tomatoes lol). Ended up cleaning and returning for a refund.

Instant pot because it will likely have a crock pot button on it. I got an instant pot a couple weeks ago and made yogurt last weekend. It was good stuff. Tons of recipes online that are quick. Got mine at Costco for $70. I think the brand was Instant Pot.

FYI the crock pot function on the intant pot sucks. Instant pot is a great pressure cooker but a poor slow cooker.
