How do I clean these AC coils?

I know the coils need to be cleaned; there's gunk coming out of the nearby vents. So I watch a bunch of YouTube videos that make it look simple. I peel off the tape, scrape off the goo, remove the access panel, and
all I can see is the backside of the coil. Is there supposed to be a way to get to the other side, or am I out of luck?

darthfusterWelp, you might not want to know this but I have done the service you are asking about. On my furnace (which is identical to yours it appears) I have to disassemble the blower, burners and heat exchange unit to gain access to the inside of the A/C plenum. Then I use a shop vac tool I modified with flat brush agitators to clean it out. I do this once a year. It takes two hours start to finish. Amazing how much stuff gets in there even with frequent filter changes. The first time I did it, the plenum was packed with condensed dust bunnies from years of neglect by the previous homeowner. I actually had to use an angled metal comb device to scrape the debris out. They don't call me Dusty for nuthin' yo!

Excam_ManYou are not going to clean that coil without pulling it out or dismantling the furnace.
Neither of which, do I recommend for a DIY task.
Notes:
I dont see a drip leg on the gas line (If there is one, its before the shutoff and not after it).
No electrical disconnecting means.
And no condensate safety switch on the evaporator drain or one on the overflow pan.

So a job for a pro then. Any idea what I should expect to pay, or is this not worth it? The unit is probably ten years old, but not certain.
There is a disconnect switch, but correct about no drip leg or overflow switch.
I knew this was an issue when we bought the house but assumed it wouldn't be a big deal...

HRKThey make coil cleaner sprays you can get at home improvement stores, its not as good as having a company fully clean the unit by taking it out...

You know forensically it's pretty tough to dust for farts. Can't really dust for vomit either. That would be a frustrating job for sure.

Good luck with that, since you'd be applying it to the wrong side of a vertical coil.
