| Smarter than the average bear |
The other day I saw a red Tesla model S, which I noticed because the red looked pretty damn good, and I don’t remember seeing many (or any) red Teslas. The personalized plate was: “IFXBXNX” I’m guessing it’s either a coding thing, like “if X then …” Or “I fix …” One of my sons is a software engineer, but he hasn’t responded yet. I do have to admit that I’m generally pretty bad with these things. Any ideas? | ||

If one assumes IFX means "I fix", it could be "I fix backs, necks" or "I fix backs 'n' necks." Maybe the car belongs to a chiropractor. | |||

The truth is, my handle actually stems from the fact that I'm in Murfreesboro. When filling out address forms locally, most folks have always used the abbreviation of M'boro. | |||

I say if the meaning is so esoteric that not too many people get it, then it's a personalized license plate fail. I enjoy figuring out license plates. I agree with my monkey cousin. Incidentally, the neighborhood’s back pain clinic has a Tesla Cybertruck always parked outside during business hours. I suspect it’s owned by the doc there. Going to check the plate the next time I drive by to see if he’s so vain.  Q | |||
