Several years back I bought a set of 36” bolt cutters from Harbor Freight. They have other sizes and worked well for a very low cost but they aren’t something I use often.

I agree, I've used a right angle grinder (Milwaukee 18volt cordless) for years to cut bolts, locks and just about anything metal and even masonry.
