1908, Tungusta, to see what really happened there.
Interesting that we thought of two of the same possibilities and the dinosaurs were my first choice.
I would rather see a major battle like Waterloo rather than the Tunguska event if I had only two to pick, but it did come to mind.

Rey HRHThat was a topic in a toastmasters meeting I attended but there were no restrictions. I answered I want to go back to when Lincoln was about to enter Ford Theater so I can tell him, “Sir, you need to watch that play like you need a hole in your head.”
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

oddballUsing the OP's parameters, no events like battles, killings, etc, I want memories to take to my grave. Two events that have no video/film footage include my parents wedding, and being at a happy gathering (birthday party) with my wife when she was a child. And last, to be in the audience at the Cavern Club in 1963 to watch The Beatles.

hoochI'd like to see the look on the faces of the Pharaoh's when Mosses parted the Red Sea.
Maybe standing on the sidewalk when they snatched Jimmy Hoffa.

PASigI'd love to be able to just sit down and have dinner with Benjamin Franklin, have always thought he was one really interesting guy.
Would also love to be present for the Elijah vs the Prophets of Baal event, especially where Elijah was asking them if their god was on the crapper or on vacation, LOL

sig226fanLike many here my #1 would be the same.
1. Be able to witness the time from Jesus being baptized and gathering his disciples, all the way to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Cannot think of anything that would be more meaningful to see.
2. Would be to go back to after I was born, to be able to see my mom holding me and her interacting with me. Would be a great image to see and carry with me the rest of my life.

apprenticeThe epic of Gilgamesh along with the all the Anunnaki stuff.
Hang out with Enoch long enough to find out if his book should really be brought back into canonical status.
Whichever of the great flood stories is most accurate and the details of it.
How that 100 pound immigrant built coral castle would also be near the top of the list.

Yeah, that would be kinda cool, but most any witness to the building of the Coral Castle said that he stopped working and instantly sensed there presence on the site.

markand1. The full life of Christ on this earth.
2. So many others. Hard to choose. Dinosaurs. Noah's flood. Manhattan Project. Hiroshima & Nagasaki. 1950's nuclear tests. The Chicxulub asteroid hitting the Yucatan (wouldn't want to stick around very long, though)

LS1 GTOCan i bring my own toilet paper?

1, week leading up to the crucifixion until 42 days later
#2 is more difficult. Moses parting the Red Sea would be pretty cool, dinosaurs, the big asteroid (a few weeks prior until a few minutes after - might also satisfy the dinosaur thing too), the play at Ford’s Theater on April 13 and 14, 1865, Battle of Coral Sea, maybe when man discovers how to make fire and duplicate the discovery… etc
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

kkinaI'd like to see the final minutes of Amelia Earhart's last flight, and also how she died if not from the crash.
In a similar vein, the flight of MH370.

Yep, without a doubt. I think about what He did for us and knowing what I know/have read in the Bible, it would be a hard to see event, even though it is for our salvation.
