Or so this article claims. Photos in the article shows that they’re indeed long. She’s from Austin.
“Standing proudly at 6ft 10in, meet the 17-year-old with the longest legs in the world – and big aspirations to be a model.
Maci Currin only realised she could be in the running for the Guinness World Record when she was offered a custom pair of leggings.
Her left pin is more than 4ft 5in long while her right is a fraction shorter, knocking Russian basketball star Ekaterina Lisina – with 4ft 4in legs – off the top spot…”
I wonder if she has that growth disorder, where the body fails to tell the bones to stop growing. I hope not; from what I've read, it's extremely painful. . .

M-11 Jr is only 6-4 but in Jr Hi he went to bed every night with his legs hurting. Doc said it was literally growing pains.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

Model? That girl needs to start playing basketball. We had a girl in my high school. Allison Bailes. She was a whole lotta woman herself, kicked so much ass in basketball and went on to join the WNBA and is now a surgeon. I remember my head went up just past her elbows. Sweetest girl you ever met too
I can't imagine being that tall and trying to function in daily life. I simply can't. And it's not just height, her legs are very disproportionate to the rest of her body. Driving a car, riding a bike, and a score of other regular daily tasks are all a very different proposition for her. Knee and hip problems with that physique would make an already complicated daily existence much worse to deal with. I also don't know how realistic the model goal is, as what clothing designer is trying to make modern fashion statements that fit someone that far outside the average?
I feel bad for her, honestly. I hope she finds a way in life that works for her.

Basketball, swimming, volleyball, tennis...any one of them she'd have a distinct advantage. Next question is she remotely coordinated to get to the next level.

I have friends who are normal size. But both of their children (girls) were abnormally small once they got into the 8-10 year old range. The girls had to take growth hormone of some kind to get them into a normal, albeit still on the small side, range. They are both now in high school.
Is there something on the opposite end of the spectrum? Something that can stop growth? Once that girl was 9 years old and already 5'7", it would have been time to slow that down.
