Trying to troubleshoot a new website layout
I'm working on making my mowing site work with mobile devices. I think I built the site in 2009 and haven't touched it since.

Here is the test page: http://boughterslawncare.com/test.html

The issue is the menu at the bottom on iPhone (both Safari and Opera Touch tested with same results). When it's on everything other than mobile in landscape mode it is fine. When it is in landscape the middle list "Recent Posts" shows the links as smaller.

Makes no sense.

Oh, don't click any of the links or you'll go to the old version of the site and it'll look broken for mobile.

I like your header...very nice looking.

I take it the Introducing Mark page goes to you mowing in assless chaps?

Lol

Page looked good on my iPad...

That's happening on my iPhone/Safari as well. I think you need to use the original software and compare the font settings. I'll bet the default fonts are different.

Thank you.
I'm not sure if it shows as the wide screen or the mobile screen on an iPad.

Did the bottom menu change when you rotate to landscape? I think that only happens on small screens like phones.

I just tried on my iPad. Font does not differ between landscape and portrait. (Menu on bottom.)

No, stayed the same...had to scroll down to get to bottom items.

Thanks. I'll transfer the template over to the main site in a couple of days.

Did you try viewing the site in chrome desktop and go into the developer tools to try the emulator?

You can see what CSS classes are applied and turn them off or on and even edit them.

I’m not at my desk at the moment or else I would have looked.

The issue doesn't occur on desktop. Not even using a mobile emulator. Can anyone check on an Android?

IPhone with Safari and Brave:
“Recent Posts” have smaller font in landscape (sic) mode only, but still very legible; since those links are probably less important, I’m not sure I’d bother to change it.

Thanks! I appreciate the help. I'm going to just let it fly. Is still much better than the site used to look on mobile.
