I have done a selfie here and there; less then 20. To me it is for a special situation where you don’t have someone to take the picture. I don’t do ANY social media, but I think it is crazy how some people take “selfies” almost everyday showing what they are doing. Then again, a sibling may cherish having tons of pictures of their parent or other family member. I know I think it is silly to take a selfie, but if my parents had taken them then I would appreciate having all those photos of them. NRA Benefactor Life Member

I take lots of selfies. I want pictures with me in them. If I can't find someone to take a picture of me, then I just reach out and snap a picture. It's usually a group selfie though.

I don't take selfies but I do take a lot of pictures. Food and my dogs mostly. But I have an app that lets me take a picture of receipts for reconciling when I get the credit card statements. Mostly for restaurants that I'm afraid they'll pad the tip I leave despite that I normally leave 20%. Also, if ever you get into an accident, pictures of everything during the time of the accident would be helpful. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
