Correct! Karate originated in Okinawa centuries ago. The island nation became a prefecture of Japan in 1879, but had its own cultural and historical heritage. The Japanese version of karate that is world famous today formally began in 1922, when an Okinawan master began teaching the art to the Japanese people.

Brown is correct. Also acceptable is brown with blue and white trim. I don't think the Hereford Rowing Club has anything to do with the SAS, but it does have a boathouse. Well done.
