I'm at the rink waiting for the pro shop to open to get my skates sharpened. 3 rinks with kids practicing at this facility. Sat down on a bench next to a kid about 12 working on his homework.

He has two hat trick patches on the back of his team jacket. I said:

"That has to be your brothers hand me down jacket because you didn't score those hat tricks"

"Did too! 4 times!"

He smiled knowing I was kidding him.

"When's your next game?"

"Saturday"

"Number 5 on Saturday?"

"Yep"
