To me, it is in need of something from an aesthetic perspective. Granted, you may like it as is.

Am I planning on doing anything to it? It’s a Jeep! Of course I am ;-)

I’m still getting used to it but my plan is to put a shell on the back (Alu-Cab?) along with a set of drawers and room for a fridge. I hope to get a 270 awning as well

It doesn’t have a winch on it (yet) when I ordered it the factory steel bumper wasn’t available so I’ll have to get one that will allow a winch to be added.

There are not a lot of aftermarket accessories out yet (except those that are Wrangler specific) but there are a lot of products in the pipeline.

Our hope is to take it to Baja for a few months next Winter.

Now you do realize that you can put a Hellcat crate engine in there with no modifications...

I'm pretty sure putting a V8 in a jeep requires major modifications, the primary one being putting a V8 in a jeep.

Naw, a 4 cyl turbo diesel would be the bomb. Power and economy, what more could you ask for.

They are suppose to come out with the third generation of their 3 liter Diesel engine sometime in the first quarter of 2020. We have the first gen in our Grand Cherokee and it has been pretty good after a few hiccups but we want to go to Baja and the availability of ULSD in Mexico made the choice for us.

Same color I was considering. Went with a different 'pickup' since I'm 95% still in the burbs until retirement.

Na, VERY common, I used to know a guy with a '70s Golden Eagle CJ5 with a chromed out 350 in it... a thing of beauty it was! Two 4 barrel carbs, headers and side pipes down the rocker panels with turn-outs in front of the rear fender flares. It was... LOUD.

Big Block V8 engines are exciting, but usually do not make for a smart swap into most Jeeps.
