mojojojoI always try to schedule mine at 8AM so as to get it out of the way and less interference with work.

oddballMy doctor/dentist appointments are always scheduled in the early mornings. I just had a routine scan done this morning, had it at 7:30am because I had to fast for it, not even coffee.

Expert308There is no good time for a dentist appointment. That said, when I gots to do it I prefer to do it as early in the day as I can arrange. Get it over and done with.

comet24I try and schedule doctor appointments early so it has less effect on work also I find later in the day there is a better chance they are running late.
This doesn't always work and for a tooth that is bothering you, I would take what I could get soonest.

ZSMICHAELIt depends. Early in the AM is not advisable for extraction and certain procedures. Blood running out of your mouth and holding two ice packs on your cheeks is not something your co workers like to see.

That, of course, is the correct answer.
My dentist is 75 miles away, so I schedule the [routine] visits in the afternoon. That way, I can take an afternoon off from work, have a nice drive over there, and visit a little in the old hometown before heading back.

GT-40DOCI schedule mine for mid-morning so that I don't have to fight rush hour traffic.

wrightdI called my dentist yesterday to schedule a cleaning they said they had no spots for 6 mos. I've been with these guys a long time, but now I'm going to find another dentist that's not so busy. I think maybe they want to get out of the cleaning and inspection business, particularly if it's not a prerequisite to performing more profitable procedures, I don't know.
So is this common, that your regular dentist can't see you for six months ? I think I'm calling BS on that.

Well there are good patients and difficult ones. {Just sayin}. Seriously, I would discuss the issue with him and potentially change dentists.

whanson_wiThe dark humor: if it's set for 2:30 for both you and the wife to get your teeth cleaned, tell her it's for 1:30. You might be on time.
