Put the window AC in the bedroom and broke out the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker.

High 80's/Low 90's started a couple of days ago and are expected to continue until Monday and then back to some more human (or humane) temps like mid-to-high 70's.

In this sort of weather, this old tundra-dwelling Yankee stays indoors between roughly 11:00AM and 5:00PM

Summer in Maine? We call that winter here in Texas. Of course we do not know what winter is here but I grew up in the Midwest so I am all too familiar with it. BTW, it has been above 90 in both heat and humidity here for a while.

Summer has arrived in SW, Ohio as well.

Hot and sunny!

On-call today, so I am enjoying an ice cold 1 liter of Diet Mt. Dew.

Summer doesn't typically arrive to San Diego until very late August through to late October.

63 and overcast with night and morning clouds. AKA, June gloom.

Meh. 102 and I’m out on one of the motorcycles in full leathers or the pwc on the lake, or the water park doing laps in the wave pool. But trust me I couldn’t deal with your winters. I’d go nuts. It’s all about what you are used to most of the year.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

I’m Georgia, if you stayed indoors from the high 80’s to 90’s you’d be out of commission from June to September.

Yea, I’m a tundra dweller too. Son put in br AC today too. Always a PIA and Sept comes quickly, but it sure does help on those hot nites upstairs. I’m worthless at much above 80. Add in humidity higher than 50 and it’s a stay inside day. Much rather have cold than hot. Not below 0 cold mind you, but I always say, when it’s cold you can add clothes, when it’s hot you can only take off so many.
Since I don’t get up til noon, and feel crappy til 500p, it somehow works out in the summer.

Adjust your alcohol intake. Either you're drinking too much or not enough. Drink more and you won't get up till 5:00, less and you'll still get up at noon or so, but feel better. Trust me, I'm there.

Here along the SE Florida coast we're starting to get a lot of tropical moisture with many fast moving thunderstorms. Currently one is building and rumbling out of the west towards the east.

Here the most uncomfortable months are usually from July-Sept with temps usually in the 80's to high 90º with a considerable amounts of humidity. I don't mind the higher temps so much as the thicker humidity days. If you step out of the A/C and are wearing sunglasses, they'll definitely fog up on you and stepping outside at nighttime is like opening the door to an oven with temps over 80º till past midnight.

One of the saving graces is living on the coast is that we usually have breezes off the bay which gives you a little comfort.

Regards, Will G.

Thunderstorms and RAIN today in DFW. Rained a lot a couple of nights ago.

I actually look forward to summers. More mosquito bites, but I like the climate, shorts and t-shirts. Warm/hot is much better than cold. I hate cold.

High '80's to lov '90's is what we down south call "Fall" and "Spring." Woe unto you in the dog days down here, lol.

I'd love to live where the weather is nice like yours in summer, Paul. But I heard a rumor about Maine winters, and it was NOT flattering.
