Karmanator video link generator down?

Trying to get a Youtube link converted, no love. Can never remember who it is that is so kind to provide this for us or I'd have asked him directly.

Yeah, I just realized I should try a different video link. That worked.

The original one I was trying for on Youtube still won't.

Is that user error, or some weird Youtube anomaly?

More weird - can make it work copying from the "share it" link, but not from the address bar link.

Mock my crippled old ass all you want, but when I post the entire address from browser window I get this message back from the karmanator:
