Our LG oven just crapped out. The first issue started with the burners not wanting to light and now the oven will not heat up past 170. What is everyone's recommendation on good gas range and oven? Was looking at a Bosch 800 series.Have their dishwasher and it has been a rock star. Need one that can stand up to a good amount of cooking and baking. Budget is about $2000. I can advise against the Frigidaire Gallery line. Our double oven is decent, but tends to take a but longer than expected. It's better than the dishwasher from the same line, though. The Enemy's gate is down.

We have had Dacor for 18 years, and we cook a lot! Never had the repairman out, FWIW. "Strange days have found us, strange days have tracked us down." JM

Remove burner assemblies from stove top and clean them. Grab a light and look into the hole where the burner assemblies were. Brass nut with hole in center should be visible. Use a thin wire or pin to swish around in that hole. Burners should be up to full strength, or at least greatly improved. Replace bake igniter in oven. That should handle it.
