Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Seniors use to be able to get a lifetime pass. Not sure if they still can. I got mine about 4 yrs ago.

Integrity is doing the right thing, even when nobody is looking.

In national parks that charge an entrance fee, a veteran will need to present one of the following forms of identification where entrance fees are collected:

Department of Defense Identification Card (CAC Card)

Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)

Veteran ID Card

Veterans designation on a state-issued U.S. driver’s license or identification card
Interesting that the DD Form 2 (Retired) isn't listed.

Yes, can still get them, $80 Lifetime Senior Pass.
The wife and I got ours for 10 bucks each just before a price increase a few years ago.

If you do buy any form of the pass... don't lose it! They will not replace it, you have to buy it again.

If you carry a smartphone, maybe take a photo of the 8.5" x 11" document?

A few years ago, it was ten bucks for seniors. I went to get a pass, the park ranger observed me hobbling up to his booth, saw the wheelchair symbol on my license plate, asked to see my MediCare card, and issued a free lifetime pass.
