The end of the Camaro
It's a shame that sitting in the new ones is like sitting in a cave. If they were a little easier to see out of, they could probably sell more than the Challenger. When they went to the Alpha chassis from Cadillac, it turned the Camaro into an M3 for $35k. Still, it doesn't matter if you need a booster seat to see out the windows (and I'm 6'1).

You are forgetting this is GM here. I expect that they will piss all over the Camaro nameplate and slap it on a 4 door, 3 row, EV Suv with a purported 0-60 time of 5 seconds and a range of 400 miles. BTW, put a trailer on that "Camaro" and just like the F150 electric you won't be able to get out of your home state before you have to stop and charge it..

You mean the new Corvette SUV

You can adjust the seat until your head touches the headliner so that’s not the problem. The problem is people are used to SUV’s get in them and expect that type of visibility and you’re not going to get it with a coupe. The tall sides of the Camaro give the feeling of sitting in a tub but most people’s eyes will be mid window or higher despite the top of the door being high enough that you can’t comfortably rest your arm on the top of the door while driving. Most of the poor visibility is more from being a coupe with thick C pillars but the feeling of poor visibility that comes from the sitting in a tub feel is a problem for a lot of people.

You get used to it. Having driven a 1SS LE several times, it’s just something you get used to. The current Supra is much the same. I prefer more visibility when cornering at the limit on track or in my twisties but it is something you do get used to. But I wouldn’t be buying any of these cars for a daily driver. Weekend, cornering machine, track car, etc.

Again? Lol.

My last two Camaros were a v6 1985 Berlinetta and a v8 1986 Berlinetta with t-tops.

I did plan on getting a current gen one but when I got divorced, my exwife went and bought a convertible Camaro. So that killed the Camaro for me.
