I had a great time!

I was almost the oldest marine in the room. The master sergeant that held that title was only 9 months older than me.

Enjoy...

And yes, today's marines still know how to drink!

Rah!!! Happy Belated Birthday, Jarhead.

Off topic, but can you elaborate on the car in the solo pic of you standing in front of your house.

Thanks for the kind words!

The car is a 1968 Mercury Cougar. It's a fixer-upper. I told my son-in-law that I won't have any trouble thinking of Christmas and Birthday presents for a long time!

great pics.

Envious...good looking family, you get to play with M14's all day, and you've got a '68 Cougar (my dream car)...
I don't even want to hear if it's a 428 CJ

Wow, I never thought you could wear medals on civilian clothes.

But the link says to war them during golfing also. Yeah, right.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
