If you knew me you would also know that was Teasing. I work with a guy from Kentucky and he'll claim that Ohioans walk by reciting left foot right foot... and I'll tease him about some of the goings on across the river in Kentucky. I will also note that eastern Kentucky seems to be heavily populated by West Virginia transplants. Where my father was born. There is a lot of banter that goes on between these 3 states because they have been intertwined in History going back the the period when the colonies first started moving west.

And yes I will concede that Kentucky is a much more scenic state than Ohio. However if you want to see jaw dropping beauty West Virginia is where you will find it. As for Michigan, in the greater Detroit area Scenic is a yard with green grass, everything else has been paved.
